PEUGEOT ANNOUNCES PRICES FOR NEW 207 GT TURBO

Available November 2006
First 207 model to use the Peugeot / BMW 1.6 turbo charged engine
3 door model in GT trim only
£14,345 on the road

Peugeot announces the price of the newest addition to the exciting 207 range, the 207 GT 1.6 Turbo.

The 207 GT 1.6 Turbo is the first model in the 207 range to be fitted with one of the Peugeot / BMW developed 1.6 petrol engines.

The engine in the 207 GT 1.6 Turbo is the 1.6 litre turbo charged direct injection petrol engine, producing 150 bhp at 5800 rpm and 180 lb ft of torque at only
1400 rpm.

Available as a 3 door model and in GT trim only, the 207 GT 1.6 Turbo will have a comprehensive specification including: six airbags, ABS, EBFD, EBA, ESP, tyre pressure sensors, two Isofix three-point rear child seat mountings, electric windows, Thatcham class 1 alarm / deadlocks, automatic static directional headlamps and wipers, dual zone climate control air conditioning, panoramic “Cielo” glass roof

with sunblind, 17” alloy wheels, steering column adjustable for reach and rake, height adjustable driver and passenger seats and half leather trim.

Not since the legendary Peugeot 205 T16 has Peugeot produced a petrol turbo charged supermini, but the story does not stop here, as next year will see the launch of a more powerful turbo charged 207!

The New Peugeot 207 GT 1.6 Turbo will go on sale in the UK in November 2006, priced at only £14,345 on-the-road.

Peugeot has gotten better, some of the cars are pretty nice looking now.

from Top gear and Fifth gear shows, it seems french vehicles in general arent overly reliable

Yup, but i heard the HP for the US mini should be around 170HP for the 2007 model

I thought I heard some information about Puegeot coming back to the USA. Is any of it true?
