Default Whiteline KTA108 Lateral links on 2005 wrx wagon?

I did pretty much all the suspension upgrades there are, except maybe for bushings, but now I am looking into the whiteline adjustable lateral links for my 2005 wrx wagon.

The thing is that I read somewhere (and confirmed it on my car ) that the 2005 and up WRX's have the lighter aluminum lateral links (which I can't find anymore... figures), so the whole "weight savings" issue is non valid, unless I go to the really fancy carbon or ti ones...

Added to that is that my allignment shop was able to squeeze out -1.3 in the back, just with camber bolts, and that is kind of the nr I was looking for for a spirited street/ track day setup.

So my question to the allmighty board is now, can I justify forking over $300 for something that might not be really necessary?

I need girlfriend convincing arguments here...
