Default AKIC logo

I know there are more than a few creative brains out there that could help in the design of an AKIC logo. The one seen above is basic but I think we should have one more personalized for the T-shirts.

I'd like to see your suggestions, create a few entries and put this to vote.

We'll end up using the logo for T-shirts, decals, stickers, etc...

For the T-Shirt design we need a front and back logo. It will need to incorporate the AKIC "official" logo as seen above.

Submit your creations by July 17th and we'll put it to a vote.

Winslow

Yes, it was pointed out 2 years ago when I made it

The basic look is there.

Edit: Actually they were all made over 2 years ago:

sorry, don't have my creative juices in me much these days.

great idea! eurojax, i like a lot of your designs so far. however, since i don't actually own an IMPREZA and AKSOC looks kinda odd.... what about just using the AKIC acronym and then putting "Alaskan Subaru Enthusiasts" or something like that under it?? just an idea on your basic lay out, especially since there are a few members who do not even own a subaru but are enthusiasts. however, to stick to the main theme, it makes sense to keep the "Impreza Club" in there (obviously).

Winslow, once we vote on whatever logos and what not, if we want to get some T-shirts (in basic colors) or decals made up, let me know. I can probably get us a good deal on the imprinting and vinyl. i can help with the marketing end!! what's another decal on my LGT? Just PM me with any ideas on that.

I really like the last one with the snow on it. the one before it has to much i think. and the ice makes it kind of difficult to read. otherwise i like that one too.

When I made it, Winslow wanted to make sure the logo didn't ostracize other Subaru Owners, so AKSOC was born.

For those that don't know Nasioc history...

http://www.nasioc.com/Default.cfm?Action=About

Cliffs Notes: The site was originally started as an impreza oriented website.

Try to keep the colors to a minimum. More colors = More expensive

Nice work.

Depending on the t-shirt/sticker printing company, they might want a vector image. If that's the case, non of my logos work I can't produce vector'd images either, I don't have Adobe Illustrator.

yeah, i like the bottom snowy one too. For a t-shirt that would be cool on the back and you could have a cartoon syle wrx on the front. It would have to be the bugeyes though But I m sure that would cost mucho $$$

He's got it on a black background. I'm thinking we'll have to go with black T-shirts. You wouldn't be able to see the snow on white.

The plan is to have these shirts for the August Meet.

Default more ideas?

Again these are just some ideas. I think the bottom one here might look pretty cool if it was cropped shorter, but left kind of long to strech on the back from one side of the shirt to the other. I could even reduce to black and white or a lower resolution.

I have no clue on how much graphics cost to apply to t-shirts/sweatshirts, but as much money as I've dumped into my car, I wouldn't mind paying for a nice AKIC shirt and possibly hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone able to get some kind of pricing?

How about something like these?

thanks for lookin!
