Default Looking for opinions on how to better serve you....

As most of you S. Floridians know we've been doing subaru performance work for some time now. From basic bolt-ons to complete motor builds we've serviced your vehicles with great results.
We now want to hear back from you!!!

What would you like to see from us, to better serve you? Is is basic maintenance items? Things like service packages you'd see at a dealer? Would it be, say, some sort of "Install day" where Nasioc members come in and get a discount and we would be open for a weekend. This would be to serve those otherwise unable to come to the shop. Opinions welcome as we are working hard to make Japtrix your performance/service center for your Scooby.

As always you are more than welcome to call me at the shop if you have any questions, heck stop by if you'd like

Thanks,
Jose

You guys should get a big flat-screen tv mounted on the wall in the dyno bay to show the results of each pull. Other than that, I think you guys do a great job. You are all great at what you do and I will continue coming to you guys for work on my car.

everything I've gotten done at JapTrix was top notch.

the only improvements would be....i'm drawing a blank here.

when I need to get my Injectors, Fuel Pump, Intake Manifold, and Inlet installed I know where it'll be.

I do like mikes idea though.

I just returned from your website. The only thing I really noticed was that some of the products don't have pictures attached. I would like to see the pictures of the stuff. It's a small minor thing,

'nuther +1... but a centralized location would be great... something that is like 1/2 way between where you are now (Northern bumbly-flux) and where someone like Roly or Fernely lives (Souther bumbly-flux)...

Wow... that would put it right near HOLLYWOOD! ! ! !

Jose,
Where do I begin? I'll give you my wish list and two cents. Yes, basic maintenance services would be great. I just hope you guys can do them cost effectively and be competitive with the dealers. By far, I would drive to Japtrix if they offered these things because I trust Japtrix's expertise, even above the dealerships. Unfortunately where I am I do not have much choice as to where I go. I have only changed oil twice locally. The local guys I have visited say they don't touch Subarus or like last time l found someone to do it they over-filled it and didn't tighten the drain plug enough with the new o-ring I provided for them. Now I am forced to take the long drive back to Palm Bay Subaru for this basic stuff. If I have to drive, I want to go to someone that gives me the most confidence. Unfortunately, if it is a dealer so be it.

I am sure you guys don't want to do oil changes all day long, you guys are way better than that, maintenance programs that mirror any OEM program would get me there everytime. For instance, I am in need of my "37.5 month" service, according to Subaru. (They do have a great maintenance notification program. That in itself is a good idea for Japtrix.) At the 30 month point they call for among other things a brake fluid drain & replace which I haven't done yet. That would be one thing I would come to you if it was offered at a reasonable price or even a little higher than the dealer because I have the confidence in your services. Any chance in becoming Subaru factory certified service? What about AC services? Audio? Bodywork?

NASIOC or non-nasioc install days are a definite must do. I would love to learn from known experts as to what works best with this or that. I think anything to get people to the shop would be a good thing. And yes for us working stiffs it is hard to get down there during the week.

I sound like a bit of a geek-newby here but I consider myself pretty good mechanically but I have a limited tool supply and do not have the space, a lift or dyno in my single car garage to do these things. I know my home owners association would not go for it either.

That's enough. I'm done for now. I need some more consultation about my modification program so I will call you.

Greg
