Question What dealerships did everyone get their WRX's from on Long Island?

I got my RS from Donaldsons in Sayville before they switched to just Volkswagens. Anyone have opinion of Browns? Cause thats who they recommended me to. I live near Metric Subaru, and I did notice they have a nice silver WRX wagon out front. Anyone deal with them? Good, bad and so on? Im gonna be getting a WRX soon...just wanna know who had the best service. Thanks.

Rich

I got mine at Hassett, because I had checked web sites of various dealers in the area and they were the only one showing any in stock. I ended up buying the one they had in the showroom at the time since it was the color I wanted and also the only one with the gauge pod and short shifter already installed.

Default Not impressed by Browns Subaru

My first (and last) experience with Brown Subaru was not very positive. I stopped by there to pick up crush washers for my OBS, and talked to one of the salesmen before I left about trading my car in for a WR Blue WRX sedan.

I check out the car, we go inside to talk, and his "best price" for a sedan with no options was $26,500. (Keep in mind that some NY dealers mentioned on this board are selling them for ~$23,000) Then he undervalues my trade-in by $2000. I hate wasting my time haggling with car salesmen, especially the ones who take me for a complete idiot (I bought my last two cars using autobytel and got great prices on both occasions) and just thanked him for his time and left.

Check out Staten Island Subaru, I've heard they have good deals on WRXs if you know the salespeople to talk to.

I bought mine at Donaldsons and now get service at Metric. Very happy with both of them.

GRWRX: do you happen to have a WRB with an exhaust and aftermarket boost gauge?
