Default New Model AP

I've heard rumors that there will be a new model of the AP coming out soon. Any tenative release date yet or any idea what the differences will be? I've been thinking of getting an AP for a while but would like to wait for the new model if possible.

I think for the average AP user the differences would be minimal. I could be wrong. But from what I hear the new AP will have more memory for base maps which will be handy for people who get protuned and who tune their own car with street tuner. I wonder if current AP users who want to upgrade will get a break.

V2 is due out next year and still is under development. At least that's the feedback I got from emailing COBB about another issue. It will be global however. No more year specific AP models.

Its in modified magazine. As per the article it will aslo record 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. i think there will be a few other features as well. It may also be available for other models as well (evo/350z)

I heard from a vendor that the new AP will be able to work for all Subaru cars and not resisted to only that year or model.
