The 2007 STI Limited Edition will come in a limited number and in two colors never before available on an Impreza.
800: Total Production Run 400: Urban Grey Metallic 400: Satin White Pearl What color do you like best? I've included pictures so you can think it over. Don't forget to vote in the poll located at the top of this thread. Satin White pearl? (This is an altered photo but the closest I could find to represent the color) ![]() Urban Grey Metallic? ![]() Here is a better example of Satin White Pearl. The car is a JDM STI A-Line. This is pretty much the Japanese sibling of the STI Limited Edition here in the US. ![]()

The Grey looks the best, however is this not rated at 293hp? Is the car in any way shape or form lighter than the current and previous STi's? Also this is coming with leather seats if i am not mistaken correct?

Leather seats is correct.
The horsepower rating (from my understanding) is due to a new measurement tecnique adopted by automakers as a whole (or mostly) |

Here is the link to Subaru's ad on the vehicle which will give you specs: http://www.subaru.com/sub/misc/2007/sti/index.html As for the 293hp rating, in short the standards for rating horsepower have changed for 2007 for all automakers. That is the reason for the HP drop. If you were to test this '07 engine with the old standard it would rate at 300hp. the standards and methods of testing have changed, the engines have not. Satin White is gross, but that picture doesn't do it much justice.

Its a great marketing idea to reach out to potential STI customers who don't want the gaudy wing and decals while desiring a few amentities you'd expect in a sport sedan that is north of $30k. No change to motor in output just the method used to rate it. The car is likely slightly heavier due to the amentities.
From Edmunds and likely posted before: A new trunk-mounted lip spoiler replaces the standard model's large dual-plane rear spoiler, and the black aluminum roof vane spoiler is removed. A new, deep front lip spoiler further distinguishes the WRX STI Limited from the standard model. New Enkei wheels with high-luster paint replace the BBS wheels, keeping the same 17-inch size and Bridgestone Potenza RE070 performance tires. In the cabin, the limited replaces the perforated blue high-grip fabric seating with leather and new dark gray metallic bezels and interior trim. For the first time in a WRX STI, the front seats are heated and there is a power moonroof. |

Thanks for that info, i was unaware of the new HP rating system. So i thought in my ideal world if the car is going to have less hp maybe they are saving weight some how. And i agree the car looks great its most definitely targeting different subaru owners. Steve |

Grey or White? I'd take either one. I like the two colors about the same, but for different reasons. I guess if someone had a knife to my finger and said they were going to remove my fingers one knuckle at a time until I favored one color over another, I'd have to go with the grey (after 1.33 fingers).

I Still think they should have done the leather bolsters and a black suede center for the seat. My limited seats are wicked slippery, and they don't breathe all that well.
But the seat heater is key here in New England |

I ordered grey. It will look better as the bare metal from rock chips will match the grey paint.

Okay, then the grey paint will match the rock chips on the side of my new Limited. Ya know, around the wheel wells, in front of the rear wheels and other places on the side of the car like on my WRX. It's a car, it's meant to be DRIVEN ![]() |
