Hmm...didn't know there were that many stations running out. One of the ESSO up in Beddington/Sandstone area was out a week or so ago. Probably just from all the extra people that moved here in the past months

It was on the news yesterday. Esso had to shut down their refinery for maintenance but it was shut down longer than expected. As a result, Esso ran short on fuel deliveries. Only those stations owned by Esso got gas. Others that are privately own but have a contract with Esso didn't. Hence the discrepancy. As far as I know, it's limited to Esso. Don't fault the gas stations. Those poor guys, some who have built their businesses for over 20 years, are not at fault and are a victim as much or more than we are. It should be resolved by the end of the week or early next week.

peace

Some of the fuel stations have shut down in an Eastern Cdn Province over a dispute. Have heard of nothing in my part of B.C. Cdn. I probably clocked something like 6 plus hours on a m/c earlier today which meant several fuel-ups on the way & at different stations.

Anyway that is the most I can say about fuel bar the cost of fuel is going up all the time so another reason my Forester is only being used to get me to & from the gun range plus groceries--------one of the m/cs does the rest.
