he dropped the clutch, you dont do that. end of story. BTW he def didnt get warrenty'd. even without the exhuast any real suby tech will know when someone does a clutch drop.

i personally feel sorry for him, i know if it was my car, id feel pretty bummed out.

It's called feathering your clutch. Then you don't have to hit the rev limiter to keep it from stalling when you launch, and you don't break ish.

who's saying anything even remotely like that?

we're saying you don't launch like that- obviously- because it breaks ****. you can launch without breaking stuff, and you can have fun with the car without launching it, so i don't really know what you're on about. no one said anything like 'you're not allowed to have fun with your car' and furthermore there are better ways to have fun with an STI than clutch-dropping in a manner that will break crap in the tranny.

when u click on the link and follow it to that screen it has a bunch of black and white writing in a video below... ive raced the sti in that video, those cars in the video arent making more than 300whp. at the time i had my stage 4 wrx and he BEARLY pulled me and thats on a wrx with a vf30.... so dont think those cars are "that fast".
