Next project

OK. Next project is:

Install VF39 (Deadbolt version)
Install STi TMIC
Install STi splitter and belows
Install COBB turboshield

This will all be done coming Sunday.
Anybody want to document / give me a hand with the job?
Might do it at home if I can borrow the tools needed.
Othervice I will go to U-Wrench and do it there.

Let me know.

I may be able to stop by this Sunday.

What kind of tools do you need? I can lend you sockets, rachet, wrenches, breaker bar, etc. Should be enough to do the job. Do you need to jack the car up to remove the old turbo?

Does the Cobb heatshield even fit?

i wish i coulda helpe don sunday buti work till 5 i think that's too late unless u wanna do it up then! otherwise i'm free on saturday!

The oil return line is a Royal PITA.

Hey where did you guys buy your VF39? I am planning to get one too but don't know where to start. I am assuming you all shoped around for price, so where's the deal?

Deadbolt would be your best bet for a turbo.

Very good reputation for selling all Turbos check them out.

Bought mine from the guy who posted right above you. On the used market 300-400 usd seems to be the standard.

Got the turbo, injectors and fuel pump in yesterday. There is a little increase in lag but worth it for the extra power and after the protune it should be even better.

Where did you guys get your STi splitters for the 06??? Will an 04/05 Sti splitter work on the 06??
