Default PPP3,early opinion and a few pics

Recently finished installing PPP3 (kept my Stromung muffler).
- Under hood temps are lower with the up/down pipes ceramic coated.
- Basically everything fit well with the exception of the rear tranny bracket and that is probably always a pain.
- The car is quieter which was a surprise.
- Performance is much improved,no cel, problems so far.

That downpipe looks like a nice piece of work. Is your A/C drain tube pinched in that one pic looking down towards the downpipe?

Good eye
The ac drain is not pinched. To keep it from getting burned I moved the mounting clip over one hole. The drain is still open but to make it perfect I will have to access the other end and rotate it a bit.

Your car always looks too clean underneath. I think mine looked like that for maybe a week.

So, driving impressions?

Your car has had more adventures than mine, tends to make things a bit dusty.
Probably only 75k or so driven so far (Stampede guests etc.) but here are a few early impressions.
- Very light throttle- Same car as stock.
- Partial throttle- Huge difference. Mid range response is excellent and the power available in the next gear on part throttle is much improved. Basically gives the impression of having longer legs.
- Full throttle- Also a large improvement . Not for a person looking for big numbers but fine for me.
- Map- Seems fine so far, no cels. Just first impressions until I install a boost guage and download a log.
- Noise- Definitely quieter. All sound now comes from the rear. This downpipe is much quieter than the oem or I had a few small leaks before.
We should have you try it and give me your impressions.

PPP3 is Prodrive power pack 3 (stage 3 prodrive). PPP3 consists of uppipe,downpipe,3rd cat replacement pipe, intercooler hose, a reflash and an axle back if you want. It compares to North American stage 2.
Coating was done at Top Gun coatings in Calgary for $160.+tax.
