Hey guys,

I wasn't able to go to the track this weekend, but my parents were and they took TONS of pictures. I've hosted them on my photobucket site at high resolution for public viewing so 56k beware.

Enjoy!

Ok after looking at the pics. Had a great movie/game Idea.. the Cobra Helo is guarding the track full of convicts who are driving the grand prix cars.. trying to escape from the track..Ohh yeah. Other Wise why would that thing be there? Is it for a look sign up for the army kids and after you get out you too can drive these cars?? I think the copter is cool and all but the event is for a grand prix yes? Or was it there for security reasons to prevent terrorist activity's?

It's an Apache. It was there because black helicopters are cool...when they're not taking you away.

My mom told me that the Apache did the first warm up lap with the cars at the beginning of the race.

That is true. It hovered right over myself and the people I was with, while it was waiting behind the last turn before the straight away. It was incredible having it just 50 ft away or so for about a minute. It was soooo quiet too man, by the time it was 150 ft away, the coverage helicopter that was easily 300 ft off the ground was already drowning it out.
