If you are talking about the cable to your PC ...it connects to the serial port on your PC and your AccessPort. you just take off the Diagport cable (with the red end) from AP and conect the blue end of cable there.

Here's a link to the AP manual: http://www.accessecu.com/support/ap-usersguide-wrx.pdf

If your talking about the Blue Initilization Connector it attaches under the Steering Column. Should be near the green connectors that you also have to attach to flash a basemap / revert to stock. It will most likely only attach to one connector, I don't think you have to really worry about plugging it into the "wrong" one.

No, not that, the Init. connector.

A connector, like cable, or where the cable is attached?
Thanks

I don't think you have to worry about plugging the Init. Connector in wrong. It should only connect in one place. It shouldn't be hard to find and it should be near the green connectors.

The worst that could happen is the AP won't let you flash a new map.

There should be a wire by the two factory green test connectors with a semi-clear end on it you plug the blue initialization plug into it. And connect the two green test connectors together ... then you can change your base map.

thanks for the help!
