Default A/F all over the place

My A/F gauge is reading all over the place depending on time of day, how warm the car and what day it is. I am using a Greddy A/F gauge that uses it's own O2 sensor that's a wide band O2. Once the car has been warmed up it will read 13.0 under WOT in fith gear. But after a greater warmup like 10 minutes of driving the same kind of fith gear run will read around 10.0. Is this normal? And what should I be tuning for? I was under the impression 12.7 was ideal. So should I tune the car for 15.0 when colder so that it will read around 13.0 for times it is really warm? Especially since tuning it for fith it's always rich in other gears?
Thanks,
Joshua

The car should run a little rich at WOT, lean when your off the gas, and lean at warm-up when it's stock. I remember hearing the Greddy guage was the "best", I dunno, it seems kinda crappy with what you're saying.

Hook up a meter to your front O2 sensor and see what it says, if they read equal something may be wrong with fuel delivery, if the stock sensor reads like I posted above, the Greddy isn't working.

BTW, try to do your pulls in 2nd gear.

Default Scan

Already have done the scan tool the gauge is reading a hundred percent acurate. Like you said the Greddy is the best and that's why I went with it. Do you seriously feel i should tune in second?
Thanks,
Joshua

odd....i would expect the readings to be the other way around. Also i have noticed(dunno if this is true) but it doesn't feel like the ECU gives it full timing(if you are runing factory ECU) until the car is REALLY hot. Inaccurate timing will also change your a/f ratio. I would get it really hot and tune it for a 13.0:1 or a 13.5:1. if you go much below 13.0:1....12.7:1 would be fine, but you begin to run too rich and develop less power. our cars tend to run on the lean side to make more power but under FI i would stya at about 13.5:1.

Just my $.02

Hope it helps.

Default Makes sense

I think that makes sense I will warm it up alot and tune for 13.5 to 13.0. What gear do you suggest I tune it in?
Thanks,
Joshua

hmm...well do you want 1320 performance or balls out?? If you want 1/4 mile perf do top of 4th gear. If you want to be able to run it all the way to redline in 5th then use fifth.
