Cool New to the Club

Hello all. I've been visiting i-Club for months and have some friends who are pretty active on the Impreza site, but I finally had time today to get online. I've got a '95 2.2L Legacy LS, which I've had now for five years. Recently, however, I decided to do some work on it and have been pretty happy with the results.
1) Apex N1 exhaust with custom pipe (almost perfectly straight back) - great sound, not intrusive, and a definite power boost.
2) 18mm rear sway bar - huge difference in handling, even before the new suspension! A lot less body roll and wherever the steering wheel points, the entire car sticks to it.
3) KYB 4way adjustable front/8way rear shocks and Eibach springs. Dropped the car a good inch to inch & a half - looks great and sticks to the road like a bat on a cliff wall.
4) Apex fuel computer - still being properly tuned for the current set-up, but can definitely tell there's more power.
5) JC Sports Air intake/K&N air filter - sounds good at higher rpms (>3500), but may be interfering with the tuning of the fuel computer. May have to replace the stock box and pipe -- we'll see. By the way JC is pathetic for service - as if anyone didn't know! Ideas?
6) 16" wheels from a friend's 2.5RS, great look and stability, but the RE92 tires may have to go. Suggestions?
7) Also have been thinking about trying the Borla headers that were designed for the 2.5RS. I helped my friend replace his stock ones on his 2.5RS and they look an awful lot like the Legacy's! Anyone try that yet?
8) Others - white die cut dial set and painted my Subaru logo red to match the body color - both look great.
Overall, I think the best investment I made was for the 18mm rear sway bar. The exhaust and KYBs both are pretty much tied for second. Any other suggestions for mods - horn, antenna, etc.?

Wink

The curb feelers sound like a great idea . Maybe a gold chain license plate frame too! And of course the tiger print steering wheel cover is a nice touch. I guess I'll wait on the Turbo after I win the lottery - oh wait I'm in Utah....

I don't think the Borla headers will fit your 2.2l engine. They were designed for the 2.5l one... besides, I've heard mostly that it decreases performance unless you go forced induction...

Otherwise, sounds good! Almost exactly the same game plan I have for my '99 Legacy GT
