Yeah, I hear ya. I wish I could throw down some money for a 335Xi, or even a 328xi. but, I have to be realistic. I'll just toss that car into my 'dream car' list.

Sadly, at this point I'll be lucky if I can get the MKV GTI. Actually. Luck doesn't have anything to do with it. It's just a matter of making sure I don't get reamed. the part that is going to get me is trading in/selling my current GTI.

Anyone want to buy a 2003 VW GTI 1.8T?

Does anyone know what the 2007 schedule looks like? The site only displays 2006. Just wanting the solo auto-x times and places if anyone knows for sure.

Someone said a bad thing yesterday *looks at Getagrip* who said he wanted it to warm up so it would snow on top of all the ugly snow. I'm going to kick you in the head one of these days I want it to warm up to melt so we can get autocrossing. Plus I don't want to have to buy studded tires for the STi when it arrives lol

That shouldn't be a problem for her.

And congrats!

Looks like a fun schedule, I like the raceway.

Bartlett was getting to cramped... I wonder what the Porche club will.

I was considering taking some time off in August for the Solo in Washington, riding down with the STI on a ferry, visiting with family in Seattle, etc, etc. It's a ways off, but if anyone would want to split costs and drive the STI, I am fairly sure that I would be game for that. Any takers? I also have NO idea what it might cost

yeah..... I didn't want to rain on your parade.. but it's pretty spendy.

I'm getting a "Driver goes for free" deal (ends april 30th) to bring my car up. I go from Bellingham, to Juneau to Whittier. It ended up costing $1,100. You can opt to get a cabin, but that's another couple hundred bucks (per trip).

For me, it was a few hundred cheaper than shipping my car and I get to go with my car. I'll take a sleeping bag and sleep in the main area of the boat, or wherever. plus I get to stop in Juneau and see some friends for a day.

Jake was telling me the school is the first event this year? Thats a good idea but I may be borrowing the wife's car for that lol. Thats if she'll let me. I won't have my own car to drive by then. At least not one thats properly broken in.

nope. not for the school. too hard to share a car. ran into that last year when Ben and I tried to share at the school. Events is one thing, but the school you have to have the seat time and you're in the car most of the day. more than likely, you're gonna have to break your new car in fast or use the Vibe stock.

Well what ever. the event is also the next day. I'm not driving the Vibe for autocross now that its sold to my folks.
