Default HELP....another hella supertone install question

so pretty much im stupid and cant quite figure out how to install these....

I read some other threads on it and still am not sure rather or not to use the supplied relay or not, seemed to be mixed opinions. But regardless, my main question is if the stock thing that says "buzzer" that is located right to the left of the horn, is actually a horn.

From another site....86) Stock horn wire (take one of the stock horn wires off, and put in a male connector, extend the wiring with the one you bought, and with a female connector, plug it on the relay, ok first one done.

my question is it says take ONE of the stock horn wires off....it seems as though there is only one stock horn and it has only one wire going into it for a positive, so how do i connect the new supertones together....

is the "buzzer" actually a horn and do i use those two wires going into it as well???

thanks all for help

so i figured out that that definately is not a horn, its the buzzer for when your door is open and you press the lock button...

so why does everyone say the wiring from your OE HORNS (plural)....there is only one horn with one positive wiring going to it correct?

What kinda car are you delaing with? Up date your profile so we know whatcha got.

When dealing with a WRX there are two horns and a third one by the RF shock tower if your car has the security system. When you wire your horns in, you use the wire for one of your stock horns to trip a relay to shunt power to your supertones. You can have it wired in such a fashion as to retain the stock horns in addition to your supertones.

If you bought it used or it's been in an accident, someone may have removed the horn (or someone installed aftermarket horns and the dealer reinstalled only one OEM horn), or something like that.

...and it shouldn't matter anyway: just use the hot lead to the existing single horn to switch the relay. If you want to keep that horn then splice into that wire to run the relay.

Don't use anything smaller than 12ga wire to actually supply power (through the relay) and ground for the horns themselves.
