Default WTT '04 STI gauge cluster for '04 WRX gauge cluster + $$

I would like to trade my '04 STI Gauge Cluster for an **edit: '04-'05** WRX Gauge Cluster +300$. I bought this NEW from a dealer - it came out of the box in the car and was installed immediately with surgical gloves . I installed the STI Cluster ~5,000 miles ago with intentions of turning my interior red, but I have decided that the green was a bit easier on my eyes. I do not want to ship this, as I want the wrx owner to know that my cluster works, and I want to know that their cluster works as well.

The STI gauge cluster is in perfect condition and has been used for ~5000 miles. I really don't care what the odometer of the wrx cluster reads.

PM me with any questions
Ted

Try to trade with an 05; then the tach will still be in the center.
What happened to your original cluster?

Warranty cannot be 'voided'

They can deny you service because of modifications, but they cannot 'void' your warranty.

If you take it to the dealer to have them certify the miles, then I'm sure the warranty would still be upheld as usual.

Well if I had 100k miles then I could shine up the car and slap on this cluster and say it only has 10k miles? How do they certify it?

you bring both clusters to them - have them match the miles, then sign off on it I would guess

If you remove the cluster and replace it and it shows less milage the dealer will know. The only way to not have problems is to actually have the dealer swap the cluster and document the milage and put the appropriate decal in the door jamb to certify it.
