Has anyone ventured out into the land of aftermarket rims yet? I think the stock one's are terribly gaudy.

I apparently have the el cheapo rims on mine. The ones that look like a sand dollar and not the spoked rims. My B9 is obsidian black pearl and I wanted something to offset the black. I do agree that the spoked ones look nice. I guess I want a little more bling.

The chrome wheels on the special edition package are HOT!!!... Diamond Gray Metallic is Hotter 'n Hell too. If you've not seen this color you should go to a dealership on a sunny day and check it out. Oh yeah... the chrome mesh grill gets two thumbs up!

I agree with all of the above.

How much does the SE package go for WITHOUT the XM? I have an '06 with no XM capability and even if I did, I already have an Ipod so there's no need!

Same here. I really like the stock rims.

I'm confused... you DON'T have the stock ones pictured above?

By the way, there are chrome versions available as well if you didn't get the posts above...

No, I have a different set on mine. I wish I had a picture of my car but I am in the Persian Gulf right now. The only thing I am driving is a ship.

HB_Dad -

Peaty posted a link on another forum that you and I both frequent. I don't have enough posts here to enable urls so I can't post a link, but bottom line -

$1650 for grill and set of wheels. $566 for grill and $271 per wheel.

20's don't rub as much? Do they rub while cornering when daily driving or is it when doing sharp turns like in a parking lot?

There was a post in the OT yesterday, and this picture popped up.

I really liked the silver advans but I think those Konig's are awesome. I just haven't found them on their site yet

My Tribeca is also black, and have been looking for something better for over a month now, as I'm going to be using the stock wheels for new winter tires.

*Edit: You guys think these are the wheels?

I was looking at these for my GF's Tribeca. Hopefully during the summer we'll pick them up.

Default Alright, I'm stupid

After I got back in the states I realized I did have the rims everyone was talking about. I had the car for three days and went to the Persian Gulf. Doesn't matter though, I put 22's on mine. As soon as it stops raining I'll take a picture. People have been rubbernecking me left and right.
