Question besides HP, why is 2002 WRX better than 2001 RS?

OK, I really really love the looks of the 2001 RS, but they are become hard to find new. So I am thinking about getting a 2002 WRX.
If I get a RS I will spend a good chunk of change getting the power up. So spending a bit more for the WRX doesn't seem like a very big deal.
But besides having more power, what else is better about the WRX?

I have heard it has a stiffer chassis, better brakes, and better handling. True?

Also, does it give more of a 'power on' oversteer feeling than the RS?

Thanks for all of your help!

Shrubba

Edit: yes, i typed 2002 RS by accident. I ment 2001 RS.

Better brakes, better handling (comparing stock vs stock), better high speed stability, tuned for neutral to slight oversteer (though on RE92s you find the limits of the front tires pretty quick), slightly better drag coefficient, quicker ratio steering, de-powered front airbags, side airbags, seatbelt pretensioners, interior appointments (Momo wheel, alum pedals, fuel release, trunk light, glovebox light etc.)...blah blah blah

Glenn

PS your subject title said 2001RS so that's what I compared to.

The interior is roomier, especially for the driver.

Soob made a conscience effort to improve the whole fit and finish of the WRX. The RS seems kida plastic-y rice-ish to me. The WRX has more of a grown up higher class look. Not to mention TURBO and about 300% stiffer frame.

Question

I hear leather seats are not an option on the WRX? What's up with that?

bah!

leather car seats are for girls and old farts

cloth holds you in the seat better and doesn't wrinkle or freeze/burn, any skin on contact

Momo wheel-- except a Subaru badge instead of "MOMO" is standard on 98-01 RS as well. They also have seatbelt pretensioners and de-powered airbags, along with the lack of side airbags and 250lb. (both plusses in my book.)

Colin's right on the Momo designed wheel, sans badge, but the 98-01 RS's I have inspected do not have the seatbelt pretensioner that fires a charge (like airbags) to tighten that the 02 does - but I could be wrong though.

WRX badge! That round funky headlights! Forester fenders, 16X6.5" wheels, 250lbs heavier, extra $$$, faux pax aluminium trims, extra rear doors (comparing RS coupe), Child patches at the rear seats (wasup with that?! even the 02 RS has 'em). pass thru rear seats, nice seats... oh so yummy, SCCA membership among others.
