Default My wrx is no more. It is an ex-wrx. No more for shore.

...not that we're running short of them or anything.

This is my wrx. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My wrx is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
Etc.

As you can see, it's totalled.

Whats this? Rear end damage as well? (I'm in the car, the guy who hit me is standing)

Indeed.

Did I mention my insurance company just spent $5,500 getting it repainted? (It had been keyed all over)

Here is the gentleman responsible. You can see my tail light lense on his truck. He "was sleepy." Doesn't his truck remind you of a battering ram? His truck hit me pretty damn hard. Then I hit a commercial truck in front of me. I was at a stop. The guy in front of me had to drive down the road to dislodge my car from his diamondplate bumper. He was practically undamaged.

You may recgonize this area as the end of the Ortega Hwy where it meets Lake Elsinore.

And yes, my back, neck, and shoulders, do hurt when my vicodin and muscle relaxers wear off. And somehow I hit my elbow on something and I can't bend it very far, or it hurts something fierce. No fracture though.

So I might get a new impreza which is great and all but my car was paid off I was not ready to give it up at all. I'm still really pissed. I'm sure you would agree "fair market value" does not compensate for the spiritual connection one has with their car.

So, white or black 07 wrx?

O! my Impreza Turbo!

Nigh five years I had thee in my command.
Five years your gears I did row,
blasting across gravel and sand.
Five years I boosted thy turbo,
injecting fuel into your 2.0.
Five years I spun thy wheel, with great zeal.

Ne'er again shall thy turbo spool,
ne'er again shall thy lights ignite the night.
Ne'er again will my hands guide thee safety through mountain roads,
ne'er again will thou race upon the asphalt to the horizon.

A man's gross negligence ended thy circuit of this word- too soon, too quick.
Tis truely a miracle, that I hold my fist - from the face - of this DICK.*

*Jesse Mendoza, aka Mr. Sleepy ****head who destroyed my car. Of San Bernardino CA.

wow the ridgeline suffered very minor damage... subarus tend to crunch up a lot on accidents, even minor ones... i guess it's to protect the occupants...

Sorry to hear about your loss.

I vote Aspen White. Black gets too dirty and it gets too hot inside during the hot summer months.

color - it's give or take with each color imo.. but i'll say black

man that really sucks to see your car like that.. everyday i wish for someone to crash their car into mine so that i can sue the crap outta 'em.. if it helps, you can always buy that piece of metal back and part everything out.. i think you might get some more money back that way

hullo gents, thanks for the well wishing

I have heard that his insurance co will make an allowance for pain and suffering and of course they will be paying all medical expenses (and maybe some shiatsu massages cause I'm still sore) and I want to show whatever proposal they give me to a lawyer, but I have no idea how to maximize my gains other than getting a pit bull lawyer on my side. I have to see the doctor again soon and they will test my ligaments in my elbow cause its not really bruised so much as badly strained somehow.

I could use some good advice here. Make no mistake, I am royally super pissed off at this ****er for his negligent driving. He freely told the police he was falling asleep on the whole drive down ortega!! I couldn't believe they didn't cite him. And on top of that - my friend who came to assist me talked to two pedestrian witnesses who claimed that the guy in the truck was looking the female pedestrians ass.

If I had a baby in the car he could have killed it. Etc!

So yeah I want some ****ing compensation, what do I do?

Sorry about your car, here's my suggestion since you have a black car,try to get another color,as far as choosing one it's all up to you.Which ever is you're choose
as long as it is not black.

Holy Crappola.... I had a 2nd hand sighting you were back in the area... Sorry to hear about the loss, and pain. Hope you can extort what you are able to from that Fkcuwhad...

I agree 'The Man' should have cited him for something negligent. Was it CHP or local PD who was on scene?

Keep us advised of next few chapters...

C.

i can refer you to one if you're not too far if you'd like.. they're in alhambra.. personally i think it'd be a good idea to get an attorney.. i'm not sure if insurances are willing to put out if you need medical, but i know in accidents like yours where ppl are injured, they get compensated and may claim more for grief or whatever it is

get a lawyer and let them deal with the insurance companies. 33% of the settlement is a small fee to pay when you dont have to deal with the headaches.

I've been injured in 3 accidents and have aquired an attorney each time, they make the process so much easier.

oh yeah, 2007 Legacy STi FTW

I just noticed in the mirror that my shoulders arent even any more... my left side is like hanging lower than my right... my muscles are assymetrically spasmed I guess...

...my insurance co overnighted documents to the wrong address even tho they confirmed the address with me over the phone

...oh yeah the documents are due within 15 days of the accident and it's been 9 days... and they get here today. and they never mentioned these docs to me before.

...my lower back (new pain zone) started hurting after I took a shower. I can't wash my dishes (busted elbow). No hi-tech dishwasher in this lovely apt.

...sometime during a weekday I will have to take time off work to get some parts off my car, which is in Colton, some wasteland ****hole of a town approx 1 hours drive from long beach... oh yeah and I can't torque a wrench anyway.

BUT!

I'm still alive, and someday in the near future I will have a new wrx, and this will all be over. And I have vicodin! Hooray for me.

sigh
