Default AP Noob question... Sorry in advance!

I just made the switch today from UTEC to the AP. I threw a CEL on the highway (P0420 - Cat system operating below threshold)... no biggie since I got no cats they are gonna be below threshold alot Anyway here's my question:

I had my AP protuned and now I need to reset the ECU to clear the CEL. Is a protuned map a real time map or is this considered my base map. I don't want to reset the ECU and lose 2 hours of tuning, that'd be an expensive CEL fix.

- Scooby

PS. Now that I'm catless is there way for me to eliminate the P0420? I don't want to have to reset all the time, nor do I want to lose my cruise control on the highway all the time (I have a lazy right foot).

ya need to get your tooner to send you a map that has the p0420 code turned off and load that...and your map is a base map not a real time map and will not be lost by re-setting the ecu...but the ECU will have to re-learn what it has learned, and may act up a bit until it has.
