Smile Used the high efficiency map

I had a 210mi round trip this weekend.

with the help of the cobb HE map, I accomplished it with 1/2 tank of gas.
(from 8 gallons to the "empty light")

It felt like i lost about 80-100hp while in-use. a very n/a feeling ride.

when in the upper rpms, it felt like an adequate street car. but in 5th gear at 60mph..It hardly builds revs. Though I only had a couple of moments that i wished for my power. Of course the difference in acceleration was startling when i reset my ecu back to the 93oct base map.

The site warns that it's not for agressive driving, though with 93oct i had no ping during "hard" acceleration. It was smooth, stock-like feeling, Just Slower.

If you KNOW you're not going to "drive it like you stole it" it's a GREAT way to
save some $$ on long trips. I'll be using it again.

I experimented with it as well and I liked it! However, I don't like to drive around with it lest I get shown up by some ricer. Not good.

just lean out the window and tell him you have to pull over real quick and flash to your protuned performance map.

The economy map made a whopping .2 mpg difference for me. For those that can not keep their foot out of it, it may be worth while. For those that drive easy and rarely hit boost, it amounts to basically nothing.

getting 210mi out of 6-7 gallons of fuel amounts to quite a lot, in my book.

Ive gotten 250 out of half a tank of highway driving, cruise set at 75, windows down with my cobb stage 2 93oct. Like was already said, in cruise or if you keep your foot out of it the economy map does nothing, since all it really does is keep you from building much boost, only a few PSI, I think it is what ever the WG spring holds.

Pretty good. I think I might give it a try on the way up to LSPR this year. A 10hr drive should put it to the test. And if I don't like it I'll flash back to stage 2 before I head home.

1/2 tank as based on what the fuel gauge indicates is not = to using half a tank of fuel by any means. 1/2 on the gauge for me from top down is about 9 gallons. 210 miles on 9 gallons is about 23.3 mpg which is lower than I get in my protned vf34 equipped car on the highway.

I used the econ map for three tanks to see what it would do. I saw an increase of .8mpg over those three tanks. Not enough to warrant having no power and not being able to enjoy my car. You only live once.

The economy map is really only for long highway trips IMO. I put it on for a trip to eastern washington, and going over the mountains it kept the cruise control from going over wastegate boost. Almost 28mpg with the A/C on and the cruise set at the speed limit.

If you try to use it in the city to get slightly better mileage, then you bought the wrong car.
