I just finished helping a friend put a '98 DOHC EJ25 into his L. We kept the 2.2L ECU for the moment. I had to rewire the injector part of the harness because it had been altered by the previous owner to use Silvia injectors. The engine soon threw a P0262 code, Cyl #1 Fuel Injector Circuit High Input. The motor runs like its on three cylinders so I suspect the ECU is shutting Cylinder #1 down and something. I replaced the injector with another but got the code again after clearing it the first time. I suspect the wiring which I soldered but I could use any additional advice on tracking this down fast as we are supposed to drive this car to Birmingham AL for the Grand Am cup race.
