Oil (?) on stub axle
While looking under my car, I noticed there was some congealed oil on the drivers side stub axle (between the CV axle and the trans/diff) I could not find where the oil was coming from. Any suggestions on where to look? After only 80 000 km, I sure hope it's not an engine seal . . .

hard to tell.. i would take brake cleaner or electrical connections cleaner and blast it in the area, that should clean it to a bare metal and dry really fast.. then check after few days and u might better idea what is leakin..
