Default Accessport and unrelated AIR BAG light

Okay, so I have 46k miles on my car and my AIR BAG light decided to come on yesterday, kind of outta nowhere. I'm taking it to the dealership in the morning to have it looked at, but have one question. Should I unmarry my AP before taking it to the dealer? Note, I am not under warranty anymore so they wouldn't have any reason to void anything. The only thing I'm worried about is them doing something to the ECU and screwing it up if I leave the AP installed. Thanks!

**EDIT** 04 WRX with 04 STi cluster

Put the wrx cluster back because they going to blame it on sti cluster. I heard you have to change some wires to get it to work correctly.

But I've had my STi cluster in since 12k miles. I even took it to the dealership with the STi cluster in when it was under warranty and they didn't say anything. I'm not quite as worried as having to pay to have whatever is up with my airbag fixed, I just don't want them to do something to my ECU with my AP programmed.
