Default AP Problems?

Ok so i am looking around at the different EM options, and i go into this area, and all i see are problems the AP causes... is it really this bad? Does it cause more problems then what it is worth?

Just got mine for 25 miles and loving every second of it. Usually folks that have problems are a bad AP and DIY. If you read the manual step by step you will be fine, go to cobbtuning website and read the manual if you haven't received/purchased your AP yet. This way you will have the whole install in your head but still go step by step with the manual when you are installing the AP. When the AP is in the process of installing DO NOT touch any of the AP wiring/controller or turning things on or off in the car. Don't even close the car doors (the connection from AP to car might come loss). Just let it download for about 5-10 minutes. READ READ READ the manual when DIY.

6,ooo miles without any problems w/ AP, Just had to figure out the low boost. I adjusted the WG arm and it was solved.

Car feels like it should have from the factory :P

I actually switched from the UTEC to the AP and I absolutely love it. Too bad I'll never recoup half the grand the UTEC cost me

Had my AP for 2 years now and I just love what it did for my car. I think most problems are caused by people not following instructions, mods not what is recomended,...etc. Tho I have heard some people getting wrong year AP or diagnosis cables being bad. But all in all I would bet 95%+ people are happy with their AP and what it does for their car.

You have to keep in mind that you're going to hear more from people that have negative things to say. Think of how many people have an AP that has absolutely nothing wrong with it. You're not going to hear anything from them, they have nothing to complain about. If there was a serious problem about AP, then you would be getting several posts saying not too buy one. I have TBE and I'm getting my AP in a few weeks.
