Default 1/2 gallon tank

I got a coolingmist stage 2 meth kit. It came with a 1/2 gallom tank. Were are people mounting this tank? How often do you fill up? My tuner sais the tnak is way to small. Whats the deal?

I dunno where people mount their tanks...... The tank size needed depends on the water/alc injection to fuel system injection ratio and how often you go to hard throttle and use the injection, but I agree that 1/2 gallon is a little small. Ie- If you run a 10% water/alc to petrol ratio, and you go through a full tank of gas(15.5 gallons from what I remember), you'd need 1.5 gallons of water/alc(most people obviously don't even go through a half tank at hard throttle). Just figure out how often you got to hard throttle, an what percent injection you want to run(most people I've heard of try to run 10-20ish%), and you will know what size tank you will need. It might also be a good idea to go a bit bigger then needed, and the bigger it is the less you will have to fill it up no matter how you drive(obiously).

peace

What you could do is use the stock washer bottle as the WI tank and mount the smaller 2 qt tank somewhere else as the washer tank. I just did this in my car. I mounted the new 2 qt tank above the turbo on the friewall and ran the pump and hoses to it and it works like stock, just fed from a different location and I have a 1 gallon tank for my WI (stock washer bottle)

No, they give you a wrx wagon tank(1 gallon) with their kit. This tank is bigger then a regular wrx water tank because it feeds water to the rear windshield wiper too. The stock sedan windshield wiper tank is 1/2 gallon(as far as I know).

Sedan has the same tank as the wagon. Only thing that is missing is the second pump for the rear washer. This is why a lot of people buy a pump and use the washer bottle to feed their IC sprayer. Dont know if you have a wagon or a sedan, but I can assure you that in my sedan there is a 1 gallon tank and its exactly the same as the one found in the wagon.
