New member, new bugeye (well, new to me anyways)

Hellllllllo everyone!

This is my first Subaru I've owned and am loving (almost) every minute so far!

I currently have an 88 SC MR2 and an 01 Rav4, but have moved over to the Subie club.

Got an 02 WRX sedan about a week ago with 28,500 km's or (17,700 miles for you folks down south).
Can't stop driving the thing and love everything except for the damn clutch judder.

I've posted a couple pics in the Western Canada forum but thought I'd throw up a few here.
Been doing a lot of reading on here, and have lots and lots and lots and lots more to go

Thank you everyone for your comments. This is exactly the reason I bought it because it was so clean and such low mileage. I was waiting to sell my cars, but just couldn't pass this up (and got approved for the loan!)

Not going to be any big mods until I sell my Rav4 and MR2 first.
Couple small things to start will be painting calipers, changing interior lighting, painting a few peices in the engine bay, and changing the headlight and foglight bulbs to a nice blue. I'm going for a blue/silver color.

Previous owner had it about 75% as clean as it is. Spent about 6 or 7 hours over the weekend washing, polishing, waxing (the body) and cleaning the engine bay.

Previous owner had a Toyota FJ, Honda Element, and 2 motorcycles so it wasn't his daily driver. He even said the first 10,000kms were mostly highway when he worked outta town!

uh oh... :looks at tire tread pattern in pic:... :looks at pic of tire sidewall:
"POTENZA RE92"

btw, it seems the tire is under inflated because it seems the center thread is less worn than the outside two "lines."

If you mod, I say stick with STi/SPT stuff, maybe Prodrive 17"s and a Prodrive muffler. Nice subtle stuff, you know? And the OE underbody kit, front rear and sides, looks fantastic on bugeyes.

That engine bay is definitely, definitely impressive.

You have a very good eye! I noticed that when looking at it too. That is actually the first thing I did when I bought it was inflate the tires to proper level. Guess it's a little late, but what are you gonna do?

I'm really debating on mods because it's such a nice clean stock car ya know.

Oh, dont get "blue" bulbs for your headlights. They worsen your visibility... go for HID.
