Question Keg Thread

This is for the eklutna overnighter liquor dept.

Need to decide if everyone can drink the same beer, and then we can get a keg. That will get us 15.5 gallons!!!! unless it's heniken (sp??) then you only get 13.

i can drink anything so i'll suggest a couple:

MGD of course
Heni mmmmm
molson (golden, ice, or canadian)

and then we need to collect more donations to cover the keg and keg deposit.
+++CLICK HERE TO DONATE+++

choose your brew! post your votes!

I've got a tap.

I can get

domestic kegs for $109
Heineken - $139
Alaskan Amber $139
Killian's - $105
Labatt's - $105

We can use the donations link that I've posted in the first post of the Eklutna main thread.

If enough people want a keg/ATTEND THE MEET, I think I can cover the cost through the BBQ donations.

Make sure and add ID Checker/Beer Guard to the list of volunteers. Who's going to be the Keymaster?

My cheap beer of choice is Labatt's, but anything will do.

This gathering is shaping up nicely.

Brown Jug Keg Beer Headquarters (as listed in the Yellow Pages) - 563-3008

Bud/Bud Light - $120
Miller/Miller Lite - $105
Molson - $122
Heineken - $155
Labatt's - $111
Sam Adams - N/A
Killian's - $113

I was told their deposits and prices are going up in August so we'll have to call back the Wednesday before the BBQ.

Mooses tooth will only allow one pony keg per person.

Not sure the limit on the growlers.

I prefer Killians over Miller, however it is also more ($113 over $105) unless you'd go with where you'd go with which is not the place you qouted you migth go with with the other stuff. LOL.. (i.e., your first price quote vs second price quote)

Moose's Tooth growlers add up quickly. But, maybe to supplement a keg of something else?

I like Killian's too.

Maybe it's time for a poll?

I'm all about the beer...

Mooses' Tooth sells the pony kegs (1/4 barrels) for $60

Brown Jug sells Mooses' Tooth beer in the 1/2 barrels for $140

IPA
Golden
Hef
Raspberry
Apple
and a couple more
