Default Need extra long exhaust hangers

Just swapped out the rear sway on wife's Outback 3.0. New bar calls for exhaust modification (sway bar hits exhaust). However w/ an exhaust hanger about 2" longer it should clear fine. Anyone know where to find a longer one?

I believe Kartboy makes longer exhaust hangers. Likely Whiteline also. Just search Exhaust Hanger(s) in the classifieds and look specifically for the extended ones. BTW, I'm not super familiar with how the Outbacks are setup (could just lack clearance), but my opinion is that that is either the wrong sway bar or it is poorly designed.

Swaybar is IPD made for Outback. The 3.0 has a larger exhaust hence the additional clearance needed. Emailing Kartboy to check length...thanks for the info.

The longer hangers made by Kartboy are "about 3/4 inches longer than stock" per Tom@Kartboy.

All I know is, those hangers were a godsend when my N1 muffler was off to the left and waaay too close to the bumper. Putting three of them on solved all of my (muffler location) problems.

kk,
mine is not an out back but i am having this same problem with a cobb swaybar on a 07 STI and an HKS cat back... it is at 2mm from the sway and with load i guess it is making contact with the sway. something else is that it is banking with the under body to the left site (not the side of the rear transmission).

the Kartboy solved your clearance problem ??
