Any feedback/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don't know what any of these numbers mean! If you could provide some insight/guidance into what acceptable parameters are for my set-up that would be great!

sorry I don't understand those numbers. But I was debating whether or not to get the SPT intake with stage 1. Have you tried running stage 1 with and without the SPT intake to see the difference? Is there noticable difference with the SPT?
I would think it's okay to use SPT since Cobb says it's okay to run the AP with their SF intake.

haven't done a comparison, but i had these numbers checked by people who know what they're doing and they said they were ok, i just wanted a second opinion

Hope you weren't putting too much stock on my opinion/observations on the log files. I am just starting to learn about these things myself.

I remember saying to myself when I saw your log file that "jeez, either that MAF is reading high or the engine is a monster". Today I come across something that could explain why the MAF is so high. Please have a read of this file from Cobb.

Apparently the smaller inside diameter of the SPT intake causes it to read higher than normal. The engine thinks that there is more air coming in so it adds more fuel, making it run rich. Better than running lean, I guess.

Did you notice any hesitations at lower rpms?

Wow, that was an interesting read......but there are so many different variables that go into it. I mean, the MAF housing is larger on the Legacy, the SPT has 2 bends instead of the one on the WRX....time will tell. I do notice that i am a victim to heatsoak but once i am up and moving things seem to even out alright. I will probably reset the ecu this week (i am getting the STi splitter and gasket for the hood scoop, plus i just want any learned numbers to be cleared out and to start out with fresh readings) and in about 2 weeks take some more reading to see how things are running then......i really don't feel as though i'm losing power with this intake though, i'm going to leave it in and see what i can do to enhance its performance.
