Question Need Help with PP6 !

Hi,
I just got my PP6 yesterday and I'm going to wire it soon, but I need to know what this chip is for ??

Its a jumper so you can take the PP6 out and have the car run. And if you havent heard don't leave the key "ON" with the engine off, it will toast your coil pack.

You shouldn't leave the key in the ON position without the engine running anyway, despite having the PP installed. It does however sound like the PP accelerates the damage....
