Default 1ST TIME AP GIRL..in CA

.JUST DID A 2.5 CONVERSION ON MY '02 X. THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TO PUT ON THE CAR: FULL TBE(NO CATS), VF39, STI TMIC, WALBRO, PINKS-STOCK AIRFILTER-COBB AP...IS THIS GONNA' WORK WITH STAGE 2 AND WHAT CAN I EXPECT. I LIVE AT 7400 FT. IN THE SIERRAS SO I NEED SOME TORQUE. THANKS DANIELLE in CA

I would not run that set-up with the OTS Stage 2 map, but you could create a good map using the StreetTuner software or getting a ProTune.

You may be able to get around on the VF-34 or VF-30 map.

Stage 2? Unless you have a STi ECU and DBW, the STi AP with stage 2 map will NOT work. If you still have the wrx ECU you will need a wrx AP, and the closest map they have would be the vf34 map. With the added displacement i would not suggest this map though, that 2.5 will spool the turbo a big faster, risking getting into boost while still running closed loop fueling (that would be bad).

If you had to use the vf34 as a crutch, stay out of boost and go real real easy on the throttle to get it to the tooner.

Wink Did'nt mention that..

...I also have an Invidia header(coated 2000) and Invidia UP, 3 port boost cylinoid, Perrin Inlet and maf to go with this. The tuner is about 2hours away and downhill all the way-just keep it outta' boost on the way there...Ok...stage 3 got it..any other input is appreciated, Danielle
