Default fp18g with cobb mapp

has anyone with a 2006 WRX MT installed the FP18g turbo along with a upgraded TMIC and flashed the cobb "fp18g 93 octane" map? I will be doing so in about 2 weeks. It takes about 10 days to assemble the turbo at their wharehouse. The only thing that concerns me is that the turbo is actually a 16g with an 18g compressor wheel. Hopefully thats the right turbo...i'll have to call cobb to make sure. Right now i'm at stage 2, 93 octane with 3" TBE and perrin crank pulley. I'm looking for a big difference once i do the install and flash the ECU. Does anyone have this set up and if so, what are your thoughts....pros and cons. Maybe some helpful tips for the install!!

Im about to do same upgrade. Interesting cobb maps call for 18g turbo wihich is a 16 g. I have cobb downpipe and stock cat. will go to full cat when i do change. I have been debating vf39 but do not want used. How was you upgrade. Any problems. Did map work well and did you avoid pro tune. Thanks
