Default 3rd Annual VT Cruise Through the Hills

Tentative Date: Aug 20th. Meet at Best Buy at 2pm.

Tentative route:

RT2 -> RT116 South -> Hollow Rd -> Main Rd -> RT17 East (APP GAP! Crazy road / stop for pictures) -> RT100 South -> RT125 West (Scenic route) -> RT7 North -> VT Pub or American Flatbread (parking at Burlington SQ mall garage... very open... roof would be great for pictures.)

OR

instead of going RT125 West we could do the Lincoln Gap, which is partiallly dirt road, very slow, but insanely gorgeous. I know some subaru owners hate dirt, but just an idea.

Map:

Last year:

Year before:

Thoughts? Questions? Concerns? Do it.

PS - I move away forever 2 weeks after this cruise.

I'd like to show up...

a bit of work to be done to the xt6 but it would be nice to show you all what the old school soobs are about, and meet "the locals" (I'm closer to VT than most NASIOC'ers in NY)

edit**

+1 for the dirt, and subscribed so I don't forget

I am on call that weekend, but I think I can make it. probably get my dad to do as well. After 25 years of driving VWs I got him to buy a 06 WRX and he loves it.

my dad is in subaru denial...

he loves my cars and actually doesn't seem to mind working on them with me, but if someone else is around he puts them down... so I make fun of him

he'll be converted some day soon

last time (only time) I was in hinesburg on business... I ate a hinesburger from some restaurant or another..

the only food I've actually enjoyed that was named after the place I was eating it in
