I searched and couldn't find anything, but I was wonder how people were installing the injector nozzles with a FMIC. I just finished up my SMC kit and mounted my injector just before the bypass valve hose. I hope this will work. I wanted to mount it closer, but it wouldn't have been possible because my lower FMIC hose coming off of the turbo is to close to the upper hose connecting to the TB. So there isn't any room to mount the injector nozzle any closer than just after bend in the upper hose, but right before the bypass valve hose. Do any of you guys see and issue with this? I was concerned about the alky going into the bypass valve tract inbetween shifts.

I'm not so sure as to what kinda wear injecting 50/50% back through the intake track would do. If you got a 100% bov, the problem would be solved(other then blowing it into your engine compartment
. I have been running water(no alc) for a few years now(almost 3), and one of my nozzles is before my 50/50 bov. I haven't had any problems that I've noticed.peace <edited also >Last edited by hippy; 07-30-2006 at 12:54 AM. |
