Default WRX Borla exhaust on 99 rs?

Just wondring if a Borla catback exhaust will bolt right up to a 99 2.5rs. Ant ideas?

No, it would have to be modified like the stock WRX cat-back would.

It will fit, but you'll either have you use a WRX midpipe or have the flange rotated to fit yours

but its pretty easy for any muffler shop to do.. should cost about 40$

well the catback includes the WRX midpipe, so it should bolt right up then? or do I still have to have the flange rotated?

Dunno about that particular one, but I have the Borla that's actually for the RS, and the mounting flange on the midpipe is actually not welded to the pipe itself, it's loose so it can be rotated however to fit. The axelback sectiond doesn't use a flange at all, it's a slide-on-clamp ordeal.

Are you getting the WRX borla used/cheap? Why would you not get the one for your car?

Hmm. When I had my wrx cat-back modified for my car, they had to rotate the flange AND lengthen the midpipe by about 4 inches.
