Default Question about water/meth with nearly maxed out injectors.

i currently have a FP18g protuned, my injectors are nearly maxed out. my question is if i were to run meth/water injection would you need to get bigger injectors? or would the water meth injection lower the IDC?would i gain anything at all? my current mods are
ebay tmic
fp18g oil cooled.
walbro fuel pump
colder plugs
Perrin EBCS
K&N intake panel Filter
Catless Turbo Back Exhaust
Cobb AP

19psi tampering to 16psi at redline.

when i go back i am getting tuned with a fmic and a water/meth kit
and then later just go back with a bigger turbo and injectors.

It depends on where your tune is now, and where you want it to be after water/alc injection. If you use water/alc injection to help lean out the a/f ratio of the normal fuel system, you can definately run lower idcs then now at the same boost. How big are the injectors in your car? Either way, with the propper tuning I think you would be very happy with an injection system.

Yes, if tuned correctly you should be able to gain a bunch of power with water/alc injection(without getting bigger injectors since I guess that's the question). I have an 18g running 22-24psi(maybe a little more) all the way up the rpm range(on a 2 liter block though), and I use sti pinks. A/f ratio about 12.5 to 1, max idc about 95%.

You run 12.5:1 with no water/alk injection?

I put it together, but many of the parts I used are aquamist parts(like tubing, fittings, nozzles, and solenoid). Not that I don't like my setup, but it would be nice to start over knowing what I know now(or at least what I think I know ).

I'd make a staged system instead of an adjustable flow one. My system is fully mappable, but this feature makes it so my water injection system took a lot longer for me to tweek then if it was staged, it cost a lot more, and I'm not sure that it helps my car perform any better. Then there are the parts I picked. I mean they're nce and all, but now that I've done more research on the subject, I feel that I could have gotten the same quality parts for much less. My system also doesn't have a safety system which monitors flow(not that I've needed it). If I chose my parts more carefully, I probably coulda paid less, got about the same performance, and had the flow monitor with a safety switch that cuts my boost when there's no flow. Live and learn I guess.
