Default read live boost vs boost gauge?

how accurate is the boost read live boost function vs mechanic boost gauge?
My mechanical reads about 1 bar but live boost only reads about 13.5 psi.
it's off by 0.5 -0.8 psi.

im having the same prob...im some cases my mechnical gauge reads 1 psi higher than APs boost reader. From wat i've read on the boards most ppl say go by the APs boost prolly because it reads it directly from the ecu

someone correct me if i wrong pls

i would think mechanical is more accurate because boost = pressure

as long as your OEM map sensor is in proper working order, the AP's live boost reading will be more acurate than the mechanical gauge.

My electric boost gauge is accurate down low, but is way off once I get to 16psi or higher. Don't ask how I know. But if my gauge was right, I would have a hole in my engine. Stick with live boost as the more accurate measurement.

In past threads akin to this one, members determined that it is more accurate to go off the AP live boost reading as opposed to whatever boost gauge you have.
