the box says 1+ HP to me it looks like 35-40MPH tops. it's very controllable compared to others i've played with and had.

EDIT: make it 50-60mph. i just remembered racing my cousin's neighbor as he entered the block and he said he was going 40mph and my car was pulling on him.

I think the SS comes with a .18 engine....more power in the same size as a .15....

yea the newer SS comes with an .18. i dunno why they did it but the .18 motor on this scale car is too much IMO. i had the newer ones and i tried my best tuning the suspension and it was still hard to control. this one i'm selling now is perfectly balanced and more fun to play with. unless you like drag racing R/C cars.

yeah this one does handles waaaaaaay better then the .18
