Default Link Issues.... Low boost, and lack of RPM

Running a Possum Link on a 03 USDM WRX.

Doesn't rev beyond 4000rpm (ish) and doesn't build boost beyond 8psi (ish).

Details HERE!!

Questions:
1. Does the Link need the VSS hooked up?
2. Does the Link have a "limp" mode?
3. What's wrong w/ this thing?

Default I read your post, I've been running link for 3 years

what actually happens when you reach the rpm's when it stops? does it sputter? jump? what?

To be completely honest it just sounds like it isn't tuned. meaning that at around 5 - 8 psi he link really starts to add a lot more fuel based on the map and it will just fall on it's face if not programed correctly, also make sure you have proper MAP sensor plumbed, make sure no leaks on intake manifold (leaks for small hoses that is) check hose on fuel pressure regulator.

Also, you do need the Air inlet sensor and the MAF, they are used. and depending on the settings in the link it may not run right depending on the enrichment they dictate.

Default

Per Neil @ LINK USA, i dont need the MAF. My issue ended up being a crank position sensor wired backwards. Also had the computer set up rather rich (safe). John @ Outback Motors figured out my Crank Pos. issue, and tuned it. Runs 1 Million times better now.

Never updated this thread because there were no responces.
