Exclamation Window problems

I've only had my RS for a couple of weeks, and I have a problem. There are these little rubber-coated metal things mounted on the car, they stick out a little over the front windows....I hope that describes them enough, b/c I have no idea what they are. Well, when you close the doors, the windows tuck in under them-very snug. Well, the one on the passenger side has decided that it wants to scrape my glass every time I close the door. It wakes the worst sound! So,
1. What the heck are those things?
2. Do I take it to a dealership to fix it, or can I do it myself?

I hope that someone knows what I'm talking about.

I think those tabs are to help guide the window into its top track when rolling it up at speed (I am not sure, but I have always suspected.) I think they are supposed to be adjusted by the dealer in the inspection-- when I was looking at RS's, I found some that were actually bent all the way down and were caught under the window when the door closed. I would guess if you bend it up a bit you'll be fine, but the dealer will probably do it for you.

Hey DownSouth, that's cool.. (well, not really..) but I have the same problem.. it's done that since I picked up the car 1.5 months ago.. it scrapes the edge of the window a bit. Guess it's time to contact my dealer.
