Bottles in May. Supposedly May will be when seasonal and special releases will start hitting TX.

I can't wait to get Centennial IPA regularly.

I wish Double Trouble was year round.

Excited to see this, I've really been looking forward to trying breakfast stout.

Firestone walker will be there shortly too, just in time for our trip down there in a couple weeks. JK is becoming easier to find in Dfw too, this should make for a very good (and expensive) haul.

Drank my last one about a month ago.

I'll have to hold out for Q3 when they finally get to Houston.

Shiner 100.

Oh, and the new FM 966 or whatever it is... good stuff... and I'm not even going to qualify it and say "for a Shiner". I genuinely like it... it's very refreshing... great session beer.

Thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed last year, I think this year will be even better because we learned a lot after year 1.

BTBF was great this year. Lines to get in moved fast and wait for beer didn't take long. Awesome job to you and the wifey. You should organize a subie/bar hop meet!

Cheers

Sad that I had to miss out on this again. I always seem to forget about it until its too last minute to plan and since I was just down in Dallas a couple weeks ago for the Bluebonnet Brewoff I couldn't really justify another trip back down so soon, last minute. Planning already for next year, assuming it'll be ~the first weekend in April again?

How about the untappd festival coming up, is this the first year for it? Thats another one I just heard about..

It's the second year for the untappd festival. Last year was in Dallas and this year it's in Fort Worth. There's also Brew Riot this summer, which is a lot of fun also.

You guys have been great in the past about good bottle shops in the DFW area but now I'll be traveling through Houston and need more suggestions. We're actually going to Galveston but I'm sure it'll be more/less a wasteland in comparison. Conversely, are there any places on the way between Houston and Dallas that may warrant a stop? I'll have the wife and kiddo with me so any lengthy side trips aren't really an option.

If not I'll just hit up the go-to's in Dallas, was just hoping to land perhaps some scores not readily available in Dallas.

Nobody?

I know there are some good spots and good beer available down there, share the goods! Don't worry, I'm not going to buy up all the good beer, I'm too cheap and frugal with my craft beer fund.
