Default sti intercooler reservoir question

the sensor in my intercooler reservoir is not working so the i/c light on the
dash is always on even if the tank is full. i'm using it for my methanol injection kit so i'm kind of worried of running out of meth. i do check it every couple days to be safe. how low does the water in the tank go before its totally empty? does it use most of whats in the tank? thanks
