^ its incredible.. in 50F weather the most i could pull out of my 16G was 4.4v at 21psi.. and ride is getting 4.7 out of a vf23 at 22psi. Plus my voltage wasnt getting that high until maybe 5,500rpms+..by comparison, a total dog with a bigger turbo! its like when i watch a video of a great bass player like victor wooten, it makes me want to go practice playing my bass more. When i see logs like that, it makes me want to heatwrap stuff, port and polish, and tweak my tune some more lol.

thought i'd update the thread.

since the OP i've switched to a grimmspeed ewg w/38mm tial mvs, vent to atmosphere. also removed the txs magnaflow and went to oem 05 sti muffler. still catless.

yesterday was around 50*f ambient. just for the hell of it i went wot in 5th on the highway to see where the threshold was:

basically 1bar by 3k.

so the turbo still hasn't given up the ghost after all these years of abuse... i blame the ball bearing CHRA.

incidentally MAT went from 82 at the beginning to 84 at 1bar to 90 at the end.

i keep contemplating a larger turbo but i then i look at data like this and reconsider.
