Default TCM Location

I own an automatic transmission 1999 Subaru Impreza w/ the EJ15 engine and I want to know the location of the transmission control module (TCM). Additionally, can anyone tell me if it is hidden, e.g like how the engine control module (ECM) is hidden under the passenger footrest.

Thanks in advance.
