Default first time at track 276whp

Mods

AEM cold air filter (small diamter piping and lots of bends)
ported FP green 2.4inch
ebay xoxo FMIC
helix up pipe downpipe, tsudo 3 inch catback with restrictive tip
Tial BOV
UTEC tuned at Japtrix
850cc modded stockers walbro fuel pump
PPG 1-2 straight cut 3-4 helical
clutchmaster stage2 clutch

the car makes 271 ft/lbs and 276 whp on 93 octane (mustang dyno)- I know thats low for a green on a 205. I think the car needs to be breathing better and I'll get it retuned. Well i got 4 runs in and here are the results

60' 2.06
1/8 8.43
mph 85.49
1/4 13.01
mph 105.42

Obviously my 60ft needs to be a bit better, On my last run, I had a 1.8 60ft and def would have hit 12s but my clutch slipped

It was at moroso motorsports park, i don't know if the track was slow, but there was a stage 2 (cobb) STi that ran 13.6 @ 101 and an 06 STi that ran 13.9 @96. There was also a modded evo that only hit 13.5 @ 99 mph. Also for reference my friend with a mazdaspeed6 spanked a gto that beat me on my frist run and ran 13.9 @ 97 ("you got beat by a mazda!?")

Still, the car isnt making the power I expected, my best trap of the night was the 1st run at 14.0 @ 106.40 when i had a 2.5 60 fter (launched at 3 thousand, forgot my powerband starts at 4750) . any comments (good or bad) on my times and why my car is not making power would be appreciated.

Edit- I almost forgot the weather: it was very cloudy, temperature was 81 degrees and 88% humidity

You should be able to pull 1.8 sec 60 with some practice, and that should put you in the mid high 12s which isent bad.

Who tuned that car?
For reference, I ran a 13.2 at 103 in an AP stage 2.5 equipped car. You should be trapping much hgiher than that with a green.

wow im going to ask that guy to go to the track with us next time, and i wanna see what he gets in my friends cobb stage 2 STi because that is just insane. My friend is not a proffessional race car driver but the fact that this guy is trapping 10 mph higher with the same car really doesnt make sense to me....

btw at that track a funny thing happened, on one of my runs i got a time slip for 12.8@115. I got really excited at first then realized thati never saw my speed go above 105...and my friends that were watching me said...i was braggin to everyone saying stupid things like "paper doesnt lie!" but later that night i found out the slip belonged to the guy that had ran close to me in his transam that had almost the same SSN as me (4 dig #'s on how they hand out slips). But this guy has multiple time slips so that couldnt be the case...

looks like a fun ride....I would definately work on your 60ft...You should be able to get 1.7's maybe even 1.6's and those PPG's should hold up.

thats about the trap i ran with my cobb stage 2.5. i'd say you power to trap is about right. never got below a 13.2 but i have a stock trans and at that time my stock clutch was shot.

you can run a 12.8 at 106 i know it.

and yes your power is kinda low for a green. even on an md.

from the slips it looks like your driving pretty good, just work on launching.

But your car is not making the power it should. Even on pump you should be trapping at least 110mph.

At least you know that with a good tune there is more in it.

I ran mine with a internal gate and trapped in the 113-115mph range....

On 03 WRX I have 12.901/110 mph with VF34 (17PSI), EBC (Apexi AVC-R), turboback (Blitz), uppipe, everything else - stock, including ECU, full interior, street tires, no glue on start, usual asphalt, so for that much of tuning should be not more than 12.0.
