stock BCS questions

Ok, so I think my stock boost solenoid took a crap because I cant boost over like 12 psi on my vf30 with my 2.5 map. All hoses and stuff have been checked so its really the only thing left. My question is can I just swap in a new solenoid from any wrx 02-05 or does the year matter? Im going to get a protune on it but it sux only putting down 220whp because of such a small problem. How hard is it to swap in a new solenoid?

it at the T from the turbo is ur solenoid

Yes you can just put a new one in. PM if you want one, I took mine out at about 35k to use a Prodrive solenoid. I'll give it to ya for my gas money to Cary. But first double check all the hoses, and make sure the restrictor is in the hose from the compressor aoutlet to the T fitting.

Edit: I'll also accept the aforementioned beer from your other thread!
