Thats what I have.... very high off the car, its an acquired taste. Besides not touching your paint, it also has a higher load rating. Also if you are going for 4 boards, I suggest looking into the 16cf cargo boxes. I have one, it is huge on top of the car, but holds all the gear for 4 people. boards, boots, helmets, jackets, gloves, etc.

I used to have it as well, but it was noisy and an eyesore. Hated that it had square bars, I couldn't flip the board attachments down when not in use, and no fairing fits.

Are there any options that don't "hook into the door jam"? I went through the Thule fit guide and it recomended the 950 which looks like it does. Just seems like something that may scratch my paint.

The I went to rack attack and used their fit guide. I gave me gutterless mount options. Now I'm confused because I thought my car had rain gutters, pretty sure that's what the black strips on my roof are for, lol. Any clarification would be great.

Any particular roof racks I should look at? Idealy something that is guaranteed not to scratch my baby lol. And if anybody knows where I can go in Calgary to get one that would be great. On all my cars in the past I've done my own work, but after spending a good chunk on a new car I'd rather have someone else do it... for now
I did the jsavage method of drilling and tapping the roof brackets while on the car, and using the Thule TK1 Feet.

You used one bolt and drilled a new hole in the Thule feet? Do you need a special tool to tap it? How was drilling the bracket while still secured to the car? I'd be concerned about damaging my roof lol

My Thule feet already had a hole in the middle.

I just used a standard M6x1.00 tap, did not need a bottoming tap.

Just go slowly. It took me 3 progressions to get to the 5.x mm size needed for the tap.

Tape the crap out of the roof. Dont force the drill. The weight of the drill alone should be enough.

Inno medium. Inno will attach without any modifications. IMO it looks the best as well

I believe that is suited for cars with stock rails, like the wagon owners. It eliminates the need for crossbars.

Thinking about entering a local car show, just for fun.

Think I should enter it with a bike on the rack?

The box?

Or no rack at all?

Believe it or not, I'm on Racecomp Engineering's Tarmac 0 coilovers. I had it pretty low before but believe it or not raised it to more recommended settings for better handling. I might go and re-measure to see if something hadn't settled more.
